DRUPAL · WORDPRESS · SHOPIFY · LARAVEL · AI — WHITE-LABEL FROM LAHORE

Built by us. Shipped under your name.

Handing a client's build to an outside team is a decision you have to defend internally. You are trusting somebody else's estimate, somebody else's code review, and somebody else's judgement at five o'clock on a Friday. That is the bar we work to.

Zelvatech is a small but senior team in Lahore, led by an Acquia Certified Drupal 11 engineer with fifteen years in production. Agencies bring us the Drupal, WordPress, Shopify, Laravel and AI builds they cannot staff this quarter, or cannot staff at all. We work in your repository, on your board, to your definition of done. We write the code and you own it outright, along with the client relationship, the brand on the work and the credit for it.

End clients come to us direct as well, which is the same team with one fewer layer in the middle.

What we build

What we build

Six areas, and what you actually get in each one. If your project needs something outside this list, we will tell you in the first call.

01

Enterprise Drupal

We build and look after Drupal sites, from a single install to a multisite platform.

  • Custom modules, themes and Views
  • Upgrades from Drupal 7, 8 or 9 to 10 or 11
  • Content and user migration with URLs and redirects kept intact
  • Multisite and multilingual setups
  • Integrations with your CRM, DAM or internal systems
  • Apache Solr search, Redis and Varnish caching

02

WordPress & WooCommerce

Custom WordPress builds and WooCommerce stores, plus taking over sites that were built badly.

  • Themes and plugins written from scratch, not assembled from page builders
  • WooCommerce setup with payment, shipping and tax configuration
  • Migrations into WordPress from other platforms
  • Multilingual sites using WPML or Polylang
  • Speed work: caching, image handling, database cleanup
  • Taking on sites where the original developer has gone

03

Shopify & eCommerce

Shopify storefronts, wholesale setups, and tracking that reports what actually happened.

  • Theme development and custom Liquid work
  • B2B and wholesale catalogues, price lists and customer groups
  • App integration, and custom code where an app will not do
  • Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and server-side events
  • Product feed and catalogue sync fixes
  • Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed improvements

04

Custom Applications

When a CMS is the wrong fit, we build the application instead.

  • Laravel, Symfony and Node.js backends
  • React, Vue and Angular frontends
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Internal tools, client portals and dashboards
  • Integrations with CRMs, payment providers and ERPs
  • Database design in MySQL or PostgreSQL

05

AI Integration

We add AI features to the site or application you already run.

  • Search that understands a full question, not just keywords
  • Draft content and suggestions inside the CMS editor
  • Summarising long documents, tickets or reports
  • Auto-tagging and categorising large content libraries
  • Chat assistants answering from your own content
  • Built on OpenAI, Anthropic or open-weight model APIs

Support & Maintenance

Monthly retainers for sites that are already live, including ones we did not build.

  • Security patches and core, module or plugin updates
  • Version upgrades handled before they turn into emergencies
  • Uptime monitoring and tested backups
  • Bug fixes and small feature work each month
  • Performance checks as traffic and content grow
  • A named engineer who knows your codebase

Capability

What we're good at, and what we're only alright at.

Instead of making you email to find out. The hollow dots are honest ones: we can take that work, but we would want a conversation about scope before quoting it. If you are moving off an old Drupal version, the migration page covers that in depth.

Selected work

Museums, colleges, data centres and a motorcycle seat company.

Whose work this is. Zelvatech is a young company built on a long career. Every project below was led by our founder, Muhammad Akhtar, working through the agency named or described on each card. Most of our white-label work appears nowhere at all, which is rather the point. Client names and references are available on request under NDA.

A university art museum, US

Custom Drupal theme and module development for the museum's platform, alongside the migration up to Drupal 10. DDEV environments with Playwright smoke tests catching route and redirect problems before staging.

A data centre and colocation provider, US

Three projects in the right order on a live site: a rebrand carried through every template, a redesign adding new features on top, then the migration from Drupal 9 to 10. No dark window in between.

How we engage

Most of our work arrives white-label.

PRIMARY · FOR AGENCIES

White-label delivery

You keep the client and the brand. We supply engineers who work inside your systems: your repository, your ticket board, your definition of done. Some agencies put us in their standups and treat us as staff. Others prefer we stay invisible and send a written summary on Fridays. Both work.

  • Overflow capacity when a project lands and the roster is full
  • Specialist depth on Drupal, migrations or AI you don't keep on payroll
  • NDA and white-label terms signed before we see anything
  • Your client never needs to know we exist

How white-label works with us, in detail →

ALSO · FOR END CLIENTS

Direct engagement

You bring the platform, the problem or the idea, and we own it from architecture through deployment. No account manager relaying messages to a developer in another building. The person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code.

  • New builds, replatforms and rescue projects
  • One team from the first call to launch day
  • Scope and timeline agreed in writing before anyone commits
  • A support retainer afterwards if you want one

How direct engagement works →

How we work

The same four stages on every project.

Migration or empty repository, big budget or small. None of this is unusual. What matters is that we do it on the small projects too, where the temptation is to skip straight to writing code.

  • 01   Understand it first
  • 02   Architect, then build
  • 03   Harden before launch
  • 04   Ship, then stay
01

Understand it first

Before we quote anything, we read the code and the content, not just the brief.

  • Audit of the existing codebase, database and hosting setup
  • Check which contrib modules or plugins have no upgrade path
  • Count what content is genuinely live versus abandoned drafts
  • List the integrations that have to keep working afterwards
  • Flag anything that could move the date, in writing
  • Scope and fixed price agreed before work starts
Codebase auditRisk registerFixed scope
02

Architect, then build

We settle the structure first, then build in small pieces you can review as they land.

  • Data model, content types and taxonomy agreed up front
  • Integration points and hosting decided before code is written
  • Staging environment running from the first week
  • Work shipped in small branches, each one reviewed before merge
  • AI handles scaffolding and repetitive refactors; a person reads every line
  • Weekly demo of working software instead of a status email
Architecture documentStaging from week oneWeekly demos
03

Harden before launch

We try to break it on purpose, while there is still time to fix what gives way.

  • Caching set at page, block and object level
  • Slow query hunt and a database index review
  • Security review: permissions, input handling, dependency versions
  • Redirect map checked against your top URLs, not a sample
  • Load testing at expected peak traffic
  • Accessibility and Core Web Vitals pass
Load testingRedirect mapSecurity review
04

Ship, then stay

Deploy without downtime, hand everything over properly, then stay reachable.

  • Zero-downtime deployment, rehearsed on staging first
  • DNS, SSL and cache warming handled on the day
  • CI/CD pipeline handed over with access and credentials
  • Documentation written for the next developer, not for us
  • Two weeks of close monitoring after go-live
  • Monthly retainer afterwards only if you want one

Run on Scrum, on almost every project

DELIVERY MANAGEMENT

Agile is how the four stages above actually get delivered. Two-week sprints, a groomed backlog, and a demo at the end of each one. Agencies can drop us straight into their existing board and ceremonies; direct clients get ours set up for them.

Two-week sprints with a planning session at the start Sprint review and demo of working software at the end Retrospective, so the next sprint runs better than the last Daily standups, written or on a call, whichever you prefer Jira, Asana, Linear, Trello or your own board Velocity and burndown shared, so the date is never a surprise
Who you are hiring

Muhammad Akhtar

Founder & Principal Engineer

Fifteen years of production PHP and JavaScript, most of it in enterprise CMS work. Acquia Certified Developer for Drupal 11 (verify on Acquia's certification register, opens in a new tab), and Top Rated Plus on Upwork with a perfect job success score across eighteen contracts.

He sets the architecture on every project and owns the review standard, supported by automated checks and an AI-assisted pass over every branch. The day-to-day building is done by senior engineers on the team, which is how the same standard runs across several projects at once rather than one at a time.

Zelvatech was founded in 2025 around a core team of eight engineers, scaling to fifteen when a project needs it. Every branch is reviewed before it merges, by him or by another senior engineer on the team.

Questions

The things people ask before the first call.

Do you work white-label under our agency's brand?
Yes, and that is how most of our work runs. We operate inside your repository, your ticket board and your review process. Your client sees your brand throughout and never has contact with us. White-label and non-disclosure terms are signed before we look at any code.
Which platforms do you specialise in?
Drupal 7 through 11, WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify including B2B, Joomla 1.5 through 5, and custom applications in Laravel, Symfony and Node.js with React or Vue on the front end. We also build AI features into all of them using LLM APIs.
Do you handle Drupal 7, 8 and 9 migrations to Drupal 10 or 11?
Yes. Migrations are one of the things we are most often brought in for. We map content types and fields, replace or rebuild contrib modules with no upgrade path, preserve URLs and redirects, and deploy without taking the site offline.
How do you charge?
Either a fixed price against an agreed scope, or a monthly rate for ongoing capacity and retainers. Before anything is signed you get a written technical assessment with the real scope, the risks, and a price against it, at no cost.
Can you work in our repository and ticketing system?
Yes. We work in Jira, Asana, Linear, Trello or whatever board you already run, and in your Git workflow with your branching and review rules. Some agencies include us in daily standups, others prefer written updates. Both are fine.
What time zone do you work in?
We are based in Lahore, Pakistan, and work Monday to Friday with deliberate overlap into both US and European working hours. Most of our clients are in the US and EU.
Do you use Agile or Scrum?
Yes, on almost every project. Two-week sprints with planning at the start, a demo of working software at the end, and a retrospective before the next one begins. Velocity and burndown are shared so the delivery date is never a surprise.
Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance?
Yes, on monthly retainers, including for sites we did not originally build. That covers security patches, core and plugin updates, version upgrades, monitoring, backups, and a set amount of small feature work each month.
How quickly do you reply?
Within one working day, and the reply comes from the engineer who would run the project rather than a sales team.
Where are you based?
Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. We work remotely with agencies and clients across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.
How big is the team?
A core team of eight engineers, scaling to around fifteen when a project needs it. Drupal, WordPress, Shopify, Laravel and front end are all covered in-house. We would rather give you the number than describe ourselves as a boutique.
When was Zelvatech founded?
2025. The company is young and the career behind it is not, which is why the portfolio is attributed to our founder rather than to the company. We think that is the honest way round, and it is why we offer a paid pilot before anything large.
Who writes the code if the founder is unavailable for two weeks?
Senior engineers on the team write most of the code already. Our founder sets the architecture, owns the review standard and is the escalation point, supported by automated checks and an AI-assisted pass that runs over every branch before a human opens it. When he is away, which is planned rather than sudden, another senior engineer takes the review role and the same standards and tooling apply. Delivery does not depend on one person being at a desk.
Can we start with something small before committing?
Yes, and we would prefer it. A single sprint, one module, or the first phase of a migration, scoped and priced on its own. You get to judge the code and the communication before either of us is committed to anything significant, and we find out whether the codebase is what everyone assumed.
Can you provide references?
Yes, on request, including from agencies who have used us white-label. Ask them about a project that went wrong rather than one that went well. That is the conversation that tells you something.
Get in touch

Start with the part you're least sure about.

Send us the repository, the brief, or three sentences describing the problem. Within one working day you get a reply from the engineer who would actually run the project.

Before anything is signed, we give you a written technical assessment: what the real scope is, where the risk sits, what we would build differently and why, and a fixed price against it. It costs nothing and it is yours to keep either way. Plenty of clients have used ours to sanity-check a quote from somebody else.
