You do the brand work. We do the Liquid.
Most agencies that win Shopify work win it on brand, art direction and merchandising. The parts that follow are less enjoyable: theme code, a wholesale catalogue that behaves differently for logged-in buyers, and a tracking layer that has to report numbers the client will make decisions from.
We take that half. You keep the client, the creative and the credit, and the store gets built by people who have spent a long time in Liquid and in the measurement stack underneath it.
- The client and the brand
- Design and art direction
- Merchandising strategy
- The commercial relationship
- The case study
- Theme and Liquid development
- B2B and wholesale setup
- App integration and custom code
- Tracking and server-side events
- Core Web Vitals
Where Shopify projects go wrong
Almost none of it is the design. These are the three places a Shopify build turns into unbilled weeks.
B2B is a permissions problem
Retail is one price and one catalogue for everyone. Wholesale is a different price, catalogue and rule set for every company you sell to, and it is a structural decision rather than a discount code.
The tracking is usually already broken
Pixels firing twice, server-side events configured by someone who left, a catalogue feed sending last quarter's prices. The client is optimising against numbers that were never real.
Apps that cannot be made fast
A theme can be tuned. Six apps injecting blocking scripts cannot, and at that point the decision is commercial rather than technical.
What we deliver
Six areas of Shopify work, delivered into your repository under your brand.
Theme development
Custom themes and section work, or customising a well-built base where that is the better value.
- Section and block architecture
- Custom Liquid where apps fall short
- Metafields and metaobjects
- Theme code your client can inherit
B2B and wholesale
The structural work that makes a store sell to companies rather than people.
- Company accounts, buyers, permissions and approvals
- Catalogues and price lists with volume breaks
- Minimum and increment quantity rules
- Payment terms alongside card payment
Tracking and measurement
A measurement layer the client can make decisions from.
- Google Tag Manager and GA4 event taxonomy
- Meta Pixel with Conversions API deduplication
- Consent handling that fires consistently
- Validation against real Shopify orders
Product feeds
The part that quietly decides whether paid campaigns work.
- Feed to pixel identifier alignment
- Variant and GTIN correctness
- Price and stock freshness
- Meta, Google and marketplace feeds
Performance
Usually removal rather than addition.
- Hero image handling and LCP
- Deferring blocking third-party scripts
- Auditing apps for injected weight
- Unused theme JavaScript and CSS
Integrations
Connecting the store to the systems the business already runs on.
- ERP and PIM catalogue sync
- Fulfilment and 3PL connections
- Customer data into CRM
- Failures that surface rather than fail silently
How the arrangement works
The commercial and practical terms, settled before we are given access to anything.
Inside your systems
Your repository, your board, your review process. Theme code version controlled rather than edited in the Shopify admin.
Nobody talks to your client
Every question routes through you, and non-solicitation is signed before we get store access.
You own everything
Theme code, custom apps and documentation all assign to you on payment.
We stay out of the creative
We do not redesign your work or offer opinions on the art direction unless something is technically unbuildable, in which case we say so once and propose an alternative.
What agencies ask about white-label Shopify.
Do you need Shopify Plus access to do B2B work?
Can you work from our designs?
Will you contact the store owner directly?
Can you fix tracking on a store you did not build?
Do you build custom apps or use existing ones?
How do you handle theme version control?
Can you support the store after launch?
How is white-label Shopify work priced?
Send us the Shopify build you would rather not staff.
Send the designs, the repository or the store URL. Within one working day you get a reply from the engineer who would run it, not an account manager.
Before anything is signed you get a written technical assessment: the real scope, where the risk sits, and a fixed price against it. It costs nothing and it is yours to keep either way.
